What is a kitchari cleanse?

Each week of the program starts with a Kitchari Cleanse. Commonplace in Ayurvedic medicine, a kitchari mono diet is the ultimate gut reset helping you reset your habits after the weekend. Our Ayurvedic Kitchari is made using red lentils, basmati rice and a hearty spice mix. Simple and clean, it’s the perfect detox helping you set your body up for the week ahead.


How can you mimic a fast?

Week one of the plan is around fasting but without cutting out food. Yes, you’ve read that right! Fasting is a great way to help you lose weight and encourage cell rejuvenation but it isn’t exactly the most enjoyable experience. That’s why we developed a Low Carb ‘Fast’ Mimicking Diet to give you the benefits of a fast without the hunger. Each day has breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. You can snack on a ‘fast’.


What does 'low GI' even mean?

By consuming foods with a lower glycemic index (GI), you can steady your blood sugar levels and support your metabolic health helping you lose weight. Week two of the plan is easy on your digestive system and can have a huge impact on your energy levels. After all, more stable blood sugar levels means fewer spikes and dips so your body can sustain itself better.
