Red Lentils:

Being rich in fibre, magnesium and folate; red lentils help to support a healthy heart. They are also superior in providing B-vitamins. They are high in vitamin B6, pantothenic acid and thiamine.


Turmeric:

Curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric, has potent biological properties. Research suggests that turmeric can reduce the risk of cancer, and improve the liver. Turmeric is antibacterial, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant.


Asafoetida:

While it's native to Afghanistan and Iran, Asafoetida is commonly used in Indian cuisine, where it's referred to as ‘hing’. It works wonderfully in aiding digestion and might help in treating irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

For best results, heat from chilled.
Hob:

Cut and open the packaging. Pour the content into a saucepan and heat for 4-6 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally, and do not let it boil.


Microwave:

Full power from chilled 800W for 4-6 minutes. Before heating: Cut open the packaging. Pour the content into a microwavable utensil and heat. During heating: Stir halfway through and continue heating. After heating: Stir throughly. Allow to stand for 1 minute before serving. Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving.


Storage:

For use by date: see top of label. Keep refrigerated. Once opened use within 2 day's. Suitable for home freezing. Freeze as soon as possible and within the date indicated. Use within 1 month and heat from chilled after defrosting. Please ensure the product is piping hot throughout before serving. Once thawed do not refreeze.
